WORK HISTORY:
Works for PETROBRAS since 1977 where has reached the top technical position of Senior
Technical Consultant. Based on the PETROBRAS R&D Center (CENPES) and devoted to the
area of multiphase production technology, where has performed technological research, managed
research groups and represented PETROBRAS in several technical missions and committees
(Brazil and abroad). Honored as Patron for the Drilling and Production Area in the 2005-2006
PETROBRAS Technology Award. Currently is the Project Leader for the PETROBRAS Sub
Sea Multiphase Pumping R&D project (*). Has written almost one hundred technical
publications (Academia, PETROBRAS internal reports and, technical papers for Conference and
Periodicals). Has co-authored the book Petróleo, Royalties e Região (ISBN 85-7617-011-6).
(*) doctoral thesis developed at the University of Sao Paulo, devoted to describe this project’s pump
thermodynamics, was honored with the 2004-2005 PETROBRAS Technology Award in the Production Area.
