polat abduvayt
He has BS degree in Petroleum Geology from University of Petroleum in China, and MS and Ph.D. degrees in Petroleum Engineering from Waseda University in Japan. Before joining TUFFP, Dr. Abduvayt was a Senior Petroleum Engineer with Japan Oil Engineering Company and conducted extensive studies on fluid flow characteristics in wellbores and pipelines and in development of pressure drop and heat transfer prediction models as part of his duties. Before joining Japan Oil Engineering Company, he was a research associate in Waseda University in Japan. During his tenure with Waseda University, he worked as Research Engineer conducting several experimental and theoretical multiphase flow studies for JOGMEC (formerly JNOC). Polat is currently working on designing a large scale multiphase flow facility included operating range, test loop, supply system, chiller sizing and instrumentations etc. the main objective in this project is to investigate the effect of pipe diameter and pressure on flow behavior using a large diameter and high pressure flow loop. |
